What's Mom Doing?, Our Outerspace Adventure

Our outer space adventure with Dawn Blonde, Gritty Chick and Ruby Rube. Gritty , Ruby, and Dawn are walking home when they see that someone has thrown away a Space Shuttle in the trash. The girls always wanted their own rocket ship. Excited, the girls always wanted their own rocket ship. Excited, the girls work together and take the space ship home. Getting the space shuttle home, the three girls work together to build a launch pad for their rocket out of a huge slingshot. The girls ask, "Do you want to go into outer space with us?". You agree! The girls need your help with the Take-off Countdown so they can launch. Can you drag the next yellow number in the countdown to the red number? It will be a number smaller than the number in the red box. Blastoff! The first thing that the girls see clearly in space is the Moon. The moon is the big white spot in the sky at night, and sometime in the day. From the pictures below, can you drag our Moon onto the green circle? The girls swing by the moon for a closer look. Ruby says "The surface is rough, I thought it was smooth." Dawn says, "I was going to take it home with me, but that's too big to fit in here!" The largest space ball near us is our Sun. It is what makes daytime and helps living things grow. The Sun is a star, but not all stars look the same. Here are a few stars. Can you help the girls find the sun? Drag the space shuttle to the star which most resemble our Sun. Circling the Sun are all the planets, including Earth. From the pictures below, can you drag each planet onto the green circle which matches its position? The number position of the planets from the Sun are as follows: Pluto - 9th, Venus - 2nd, Neptune - 8th, Mars - 4th, Uranus - 7th, Mercury - 1st, Saturn - 6th, Jupiter - 5th, Earth - 3rd. Wow, Great job! The girls admire the planets as they fly further into space."Wow! That was an amazing trip!", they cheer. Getting late, the girls decide it is time to head back home to Earth. They promise to drop you off at home, and can't wait to see you again.
